We've garnered a lot of interest in being contractors on our bench! The amount of work we have available varies from week to week and month to month, but if you want to be involved in our team as we grow, we'd love to hear from you!

• Only remote work will be offered, and we don't care what time you work, just so long as due dates are met.
• You know the pay for the task before you take it, even if it takes you less time than we estimated - if it's more time consuming than we thought, we review the task with you, and typically up the pay -- so a "no lose" situation for you.
• Unless specified differently, development is "co-owned" -- basically we reserve the right to re-use your solution on future projects, and you get to do  the same.
• If you're consistently getting things completed in a lower than estimated LOE, we'll connect with you to make sure you're charging enough for your skill level!

1. If invited, you'll sign an NDA and Contractor Agreement via Docusign.
2. You'll fill out direct deposit information on Justworks, which is how we'll pay you.
3. Invited to Finite Slack team. Welcome to participate in #TechTalk channel.
4. You'll get an account on "Finite Zone" where work is assigned.
5. When we've got extra work we need done, you'll get notified on slack w/ a link to the task.
6. If you know you can handle the task, and get it done by the due date, you can pick up the task. You'll get paid whatever the Dev LOE is multiplied by your hourly rate.
7. If you need more information, you block the task.
8. If you need more hours, you request a raised LOE, which will be evaluated and either approved or rejected.
9. You'll get notified via Slack when we answer questions in the work notes of the task, etc.
10. Mark it finished when you're done -- it asks for "Actual Effort" - you'll still get paid for the quoted Dev LOE, regardless what you put here.
11. At the end of every month, we pay you out through Justworks, and send you a summary that includes what tasks you worked on, what the total hours you worked was, and what your "Actual Rate" was -- showing you how efficient you are using that Actual Effort information!

Next Steps Upon Submitting:

1. Once you have submitted the form be on the lookout for an email from us.
   • If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes please check your Spam/Junk folders
   • If you still aren't seeing the email please email us directly at info@finite-partners.com
2. IMPORTANT - Reply to the received email with a copy of your CV/Resume.
3. To expedite the process it would also be helpful to include the following pertinent documentation in your email response:
   • If you're not a US Citizen, we'll eventually need to collect a form W-8BEN from you (instructions here). 
   • If you are a US Citizen and are looking for C2C work because you have your own LLC, etc., we'll need to collect a form W9 from you.
